Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor who became famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other characters include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the Telefilm Nightingales and the short-lived NBC show with similar name, Erica Paget as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swanson is a native of California. She began acting at a very young age. Her career began acting in commercials as an actress. In 1984, she made her debut in a screen show of the sitcom by NBC, It's Your Turn. In 1986 she debuted in a romantic comedy called Pretty in Pink. Known for her blonde hairlispand her breathless voiceSwan has been relegated to playing minor characters over the last few times. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category for 1989.
