Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child with me, and other babies with me in the cradle was working 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! The home was starting to look good, but there were still many things to be done. The house would need lots of time as well as a passion to shop. To keep my budget intact, I went with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. Each week we would spend Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales buying brand new furniture. In the end, I stenciled and polished the driveway in the week. The look was similar to it... This is the time my love of restoring furniture began. Once our home was furnished, I still couldn't stop! There was a market in the area for me to market my items. It was possible to expand the market because I had plenty of pieces that I could use. My house was transformed into a space that I hosted open houses, where up to 1,000 people could view the items on my first floor before purchasing the items. Growing Days was founded in my own home. Not only was my business expanding, but so was my sweet family too. As a young mom I was able to find the perfect equilibrium to start my own business and also become a great mother. Growing Days seemed like the perfect match. Nora, my 4th kid was born in the year 2013. I adored where my business was taking me, but I felt like I needed some time off. I took a break from furniture that was vintage to enjoy more quality time with my children. It was just what I needed. Within a couple of months, the phone began to begin to. They were asking for assistance with interior decorating and renovations. A majority of these were the ones who had strolled through my property during furniture open houses! In the course of my work, I added clients to my list one by one. But it wasn't long before I managed many clients and operated an extremely successful business of home renovation. If you'd have predicted that this venture of mine would turn into an idea for a TV show for the DIY Network I probably would have laughed. As I look back on this situation I am laughing.
